The Okidata C9300 is a laser color printer that offers monochrome, black and white and color prints of a distinctly higher quality. The Okidata C9300 offers wide format printing option that is also known as the tabloid format. It can print up to 12" x 18" and thus offers great printing opportunities for small magazines that cannot afford paying money for a press publication. Signs, posters, flyers and other larger layouts are easily accommodated with this format. Although the C9300 can print elaborate graphics and presentations but it does not consume excessive ink. Toner cartridges for the Okidata C9300 are quite thrifty in use and there are also many ink saving settings available. The C9300 offers bi-directional parallel and USB interfaces, and can be connected to any network, both PC and Mac, through an OkiLAN® 6200e+ 10/100 Base-T internal print server card. Printing speed is 37 pages per minute for black and white and 30 pages for color prints. First page out time is 10 seconds for black and 11.5 seconds for color prints. The Okidata C9300 has 128MB memory that can be expanded to 1GB. An optional hard disk drive of 10GB is available. The Okidata C9300 has a processor of 450MHz and this capacity is enough for most printing jobs. Standard resolution is 1200 x 600 dpi on the Okidata C9300.
One universal tray can hold 550 sheets and the other multi-purpose tray can accommodate 100 sheets. Transparences, letter heads and envelopes can be easily printed on the C9300. Monthly duty cycle is 150,000 pages though the Okidata C9300 can easily withstand a printing pattern of up to 175,000 pages.
A color matching system enables better printing quality as users can control the color patterns and avoid any heavy use. Ink Simulations: SWOP™, Euroscale and other features are also available to enhance print quality. Okidata’s C9300 is available with one year warranty and with plenty of accessories that can improve the printing quality. Job Accounting software is the main feature that ensures an accurate count of color and mono pages, the types and quantities of paper used, and a record of printing activity by department.
